Arthur Stoike
ARTHUR ALBERT STOIKE (7 NOV 1919 - 8 JULY 1995) - Old Block 1 Plot e & f Lot # 35.

   Arthur Albert Stoike, 75, of Beaverton, died Saturday, July 8, 1995. He was born Nov. 7, 1919, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Albert and Hulda (Ziemer) Stoike. He married the former Rosella Hamm Aug. 30, 1947, in Fairview Village, Ohio. He lived in Gladwin County for most of his life. He worked as a truck driver for the City of Beaverton for 18 years before retiring in 1982. He was also a projectionist for Beaverton Gem Theater for 10 years.

   Mr. Stoike also served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and V.F.W. Post 7303. Besides his wife, Rosella. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur and Penny Stoike II, of Beaverton, and Randy and Jan Stoike, of Gladwin, one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Steve Morrison, of Hope; 12 grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law Walter and Mable Stoike, of Gladwin; and one sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and George Haag, of Colorado Springs, Colo.

   He was predeceased by one daughter, Sandra (Kintner) Oberlies on May 4, 194, and one granddaughter, Heather Lynn Kintner, on Jan. 23, 1973. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, July 11, 1995, at 11 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin. Burial will be in Beaverton Cemetery with the Rev. Timothy M. Verity officiating. Friends may call at Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton today from noon until 9 p.m. and at the church Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
