VERNELL STILLWAGON


  Vernell C. Stillwagon, 62, of 418 Knox St., Beaverton, died suddenly Sunday, Oct. 1, in Midland County. Born in Midland County on August 8, 1916, he had spent his lifetime in Gladwin County. Mr. Stillwagon was employed by the Dow Chemical Co. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Gladwin County V.F.W. Post 7303. Mr. Stillwagon and the former Catherine Cornell were married on June 25, 1948, in Beaverton.

  Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Peter (Debra) Bergman and Cathy Stillwagon of Beaverton; one son Lloyd of Beaverton; 4 sisters, Mrs. Florence Watson of Coleman, Mrs. Mabel Yager, Mrs. Dorothy Killian and Mrs. Margaret Benchley, all of Beaverton; and 2 grandchildren.

  Services were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Mark Moore officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
