Albert J. Stanley

HAS PASSED AWAY
DEATH AT HIS HOME ON BOND STREET OF A. J. STANLEY--THE REMAINS TO BE TAKEN TO PONTIAC.

  The death of Albert J. Stanley at his home, 706 North Bond street, East Saginaw, at 3 o'clock Saturday morning, aged 62 years, was announced by the Courier-Herald last Sunday. He was born in Pontiac, and has resided in that place and Detroit the greater part of his life-time. Some six years ago he removed to Gladwin, Mich., where he lived five years. About two year ago, he suffered a paralytic stroke, and since that time has been an invalid. About one year ago he removed to Saginaw, thinking the change of place of residence might prove beneficial to him. So it seemed until two weeks since, when he was stricken down with pneumonia, and he died of heart failure. He leaves a widow, six sons and three daughters. Mr. Stanley was a companionable, concientious gentleman, so that, during his life time he gathered around him a large circle of friends, who will regard his death as a personal loss. He was a member of the Clio G.A.R. post. The funeral services were held at the residence 706 North Bond street at 10 o'clock Monday morning. The remains were taken to Pontiac for interment..
