Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Charles Stanard

   Files from this issue are missing at this time Charles Stanard, 63, of Gladwin passed away on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005. Charles was born Dec. 13, 1941 in Goodrich to Harry and Ruth Stanard. He retired from Fabricating Engineers, was a lifetime member of the Grand Blanc Hunt Club, and belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles #629. He resided in Gladwin for past two years where he enjoyed many hobbies, such as woodworking, metal working and his active membership with the Kerswill Lake Association.

   Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Dorothy Stanard; daughter Donna (Randy) Patsy of Burleson, Texas; son Kenneth (Deborah) Stanard of Millington; stepsons Monte Mathews of Houston, Texas and Boyce Mathews of Holly; stepdaughter Kimberly Mathews of Flint; brother Robert (Patricia) Stanard of Detroit; sister Betty of Maryland; 11 grandchildren and two Great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Keith Stanard, and stepson Troy Mathews.

   Funeral service will be held at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 Saginaw St., Grand Blanc at 1 p.m. Wednesday, with burial to follow at Goodrich Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday will be from noon until the time of the service.
