Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Donald Spuller

   Donald R. Spuller, 60, of Gladwin died Thursday evening, Jan. 25, 2007 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland following a lengthy illness.

   Donald was born July 30, 1946 in Akron, Ohio, the son of Raymond and Mary (Ferguson) Spuller.

   He served in the United States Marine Corp from January 1966 to November 1967.

   He retired in September 2003 from Consumers Energy, where he worked in the Jackson facility procurement office.

   He enjoyed antique cars, pontoon boating with his family at the lake and especially enjoyed family campfire gatherings He was an avid fan of the Ohio State University football team.

   He married the former Elizabeth Salva.

   Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; one son, Steven (Lori) Gandy of Midland; two daughters, Ann (Rick) Aldrich of Beaverton and Lisa (Randy) Duford of Midland; six grandchildren, Nicole and Eric Gandy, Jason and Kyle Aldrich, and Tyler and Evan O’Dell; two brothers, Phillip and Michael Spuller; and two sisters, Gloria Billick and Margaret Spuller Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Carolyn.

   In keeping with Donald’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

   For those wishing to make a memorial contribution, consideration may be given to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
