Orin L. spicer
O. L. SPICER
O. L. Spicer, Civil war veteran, died Feb. 19,
1927, at home of his grandson Oren in Beaverton, at
the age of 90 years. His early life was spent in Ohio,
where he enlisted in a cavalry regiment and served in
the Civil war.
About 20 years ago he located near Beaverton,
living here from that time until his death. His wife
preceded him in death, leaving one son, George of
Beaverton township, and two daughters, Mrs. Clara
Becker of Marine City and Mrs. Ola Miller of Lima,
Ohio.
Funeral services were held at the home, conducted
by Rev. Perry Arnold. Burial in Beaverton cemetery.
