Oran Spicer
ORAN SPICER
Oran G. Spicer, 78, died Saturday, Jan. 15, at his home at 609 North St. in Coleman. Born on November 21, 1898, in Geyer County , Ohio, he moved to Coleman 10 years ago from Gladwin County. Mr. Spicer was retired from the Gladwin County Road Commission. He was married to the former D. Olive Winn on August 7, 1919, in Gladwin County. She preceded him in death on April 28, 1966.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Errol (Erma) Davis of Midland, Mrs. Stephen (Patsy) Balakovich of Beaverton and Mrs. Theodore (Bunny) Fackler of Mayville; one sister, Mrs. Ilomae Nunn of Coleman; 10 grandchildren and one great grandson.
Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the O'Laughlin Funeral Home in Coleman. The Rev.Lyle Reynolds officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
