Clare Soule
Clare W. Soule, 88, of Gladwin formerly of Cadillac, passed away Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005 at Tendercare Nursing Home in Clare.
Clare was born June 5, 1916 in St. Louis, Michigan to Wilford and Emma Pressler Soule.
He married Margaret Dunbar on June 17, 1940 in Cadillac. They came to Gladwin in 1992.
Clare worked as an electrician owning and operating Mid Michigan Electric. He also worked for Newberry Electric in Phoenix, Arizona.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; three sons, Craig (Dianna) Soule and Kirk (Leslie) Soule, both of Cadillac, and Roger (Missy) Soule of Bay City; one daughter, Karen (David) Fassett of Gladwin; 14 grandchildren, 19 Great grandchildren and one Great great grandchild; and one sister, Alice Henney of Gladwin.
Services were held on Jan. 22 at the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin. Rev. Donald Roberts officiated. Burial took place in Emerson Cemetery in St. Louis, Michigan.
