Roy B. Snyder
Roy B. Snyder, 57, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday morning,
May 29. He was born on March 12, 1895, in Tamah, Ohio. He married Miss Deliah Sampson in
1920 in Gladwin. They lived on a farm in Smith Creek for a number of years, moving to Gladwin
three years ago. Mr. Snyder was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Gladwin I.O.O.F. Lodge,
the Encampment, the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are his wife, Deliah; two sons, Carl and Dwight Snyder, of Toledo, Ohio; three
daughters, Annette Naaly of Saginaw, Mrs. Marie Wright of Gladwin and Betty Snyder at home. Funeral
services were held on Sunday afternoon from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. John Scott, of the
Gladwin Methodist church, officiated and burial was in Highland cemetery. Services were under the
auspices of the I.O.O.
