RITES HELD FOR HOBART SNYDER
Hobart Snyder, 66, died suddenly last Wednesday at his home in Tobacco
Township. Born on July 24, 1896, in Tobacco Township, he lived most of his lifetime in
Gladwin County. A carpenter by trade he was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Robert L. Cox of Detroit, Mrs. William Schwender of
Saginaw, and Mrs. Don Perkins of Flint; and one brother, Welcome, of Beaverton. Funeral services
were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Gordon Showers officiated and
burial was in Dale Cemetel.
