Beatrice Snyder
Mrs. Beatrice I. Snyder, 90, of 449 E. Highwood Rd., Beaverton, died suddenly Monday, Sept. 30, 1991, at her home. Born in Gladwin County, July 9, 1901, she had spent most of her life here. She attended the Church of Daniel's Band in Highwood for many years and was a member of the Dale-Billings Ladies Aid. The former Beatrice Crowell, she was married to Welcome Snyder, May 13, 1920, in Flint. He preceded her in death Dec. 1, 1969.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James (Geraldine) Grisdale of Mt. Pleasant; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Brushaber of Beaverton; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Frank (Marion Snyder) Kelley of Beaverton; 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and on great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Leo, Dec. 1, 1973, and a daughter Florence in 1930.
Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Ed Abbott will officiate and burial will be in the Tobacco Township Cemetery.
