Nina Smith
Nina Marie Smith, 61, of Beaverton passed away at her home Feb. 5, 2008 following a long illness.
She was born in Flint Aug. 7, 1946 to Ralph H. and Norma E. (Dillard) Cochran. She was employed in sales at Art Van Furniture in Saginaw.
She had lived in Gladwin County for five years, previously residing in Fenton.
Nina married Art Smith Dec. 28, 1963 in Flint.
She is survived by her husband, Art Smith of Beaverton; two daughters, Nanette (David) Miller and Natalie (Russ) Coomer, all of Argentine, Michigan; grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; one sister, Nancy (Nels) Anderson of New Lothrop; and one brother, Thomas (Julie) Cochran of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Herbie.
According to the wishes of the family cremation will take place.
Arrangements were made by Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.
