Beverly Smith
Beverly Ann Smith, 72, of Rhodes died suddenly Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Bay Medical Center in Bay City She was born Aug. 12, 1934 to George and Flossie (Gower) Davis in Bay County.
Beverly was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Gladwin County. She was a member of the Family of God.
On Sept. 4, 1953, she married Merle Smith in Sanford.
Surviving are her husband, Merle Smith of Rhodes; four daughters, Connie (Harold) Shannon, Susan (Chuck) Schaefer, Anita Jean (Leroy) Green, and Brenda (Norman) Eddy; three sons, Brian (Brenda) Smith, John (Leann) Smith, and Kevan (Wanda) Smith; three brothers; five sisters; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Doug; one daughter, Cheryl; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services are Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007 at 12 p.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton with Rev. Brenda Smith officiating Burial is in Billings Township Cemetery in Beaverton.
Visitation is Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007 from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home in Beaverton.
