Robert Skaggs
ROBERT SKAGGS
Robert Cecil Skaggs, 76, of 1918 S. M-18, Gladwin,
died Thursday, May 18, 1989 in Saginaw Veterans
Hospital after a long illness. Born in Portsmouth,
Ohio, Aug. 8, 1912, he moved to Gladwin County 15
years ago. Mr. Skaggs was a retired member of the Ohio Operating Engineers. He served in the Army during World War II.
Surviving are 2 brothers, William of Black River
and Norman of Gladwin; and one sister, Beulah
Armstrong of Dafter. Rites were held Monday at 11 a.m.
from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev.
Donald Keen officiated and burial was in the Arbutus
Cemetery..
