Max Sischo
RITES THURSDAY
PVT. MAX SISCHO
Funeral services for Pvt. Max Sischo, recently returned from overseas, will
be held at the Hall Funeral home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Carl Koerner
will officiate and burial will be in the Highland cemetery. Pvt. Sischo, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Glenn Sischo, of Winegars, was born in Leonard on June 26, 1921. He came to Gladwin as a small
child at attended the Gladwin schools. On May 10, 1944, he was inducted into the Army, and was
overseas only a short time when he was killed in action in Luxembourg on December 22, 1944.
Surviving are his parents, two daughters, Karen and Linda, and one brother, Jack Sischo.
