Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Helen (Marr) Simmons

   Helen Marr, wife of Ransom F. Simmons, of this city, died Jan. 21, 1905, aged 64 years. Funeral services were held Jan. 23 at the residence, conducted by Rev. O. F. Bulman, and there was a large attendance. Interment in Highland cemetery.
   Mrs. Simmons was born in Westminster, Ont., in 1840, and had lived in Gladwin county since 1875. She was a sister of Benjamin Teeple; who survives her, and who has resided in this county since 1863. Two other brothers also survive her. Her husband, who has been an invalid several years, mourns her loss, with one son, Hiram, a daughter having preceded her to the great beyond.
   Mrs. Simmons was a quiet, unassuming woman, and had a large circle of friends who held her in high esteem. She will be greatly missed.
