Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Florence Shultz

   Florence Shultz, 77, of Lansing, formerly of Gladwin, died Jan. 17, 2007. She was born July 26, 1929 in Gladwin County.

   Mrs. Shultz was a member of the Catholic Community of St. Jude and a former member of Sacred Heart Parish in Gladwin. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flower garden.

   A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, surviving are two daughters, Deborah (Terry) Caddell of Muncie, Indiana, and Janet (Robert) Griffin of DeWitt; three sons, Michael (Melody) of Rockford, Timothy (Debra) of Hudsonville, and Mark (Denise) of Grand Rapids; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, James (Pauline) Cameron and Francis (Grace) Cameron; and one sister, Rosalie (Alfred) Belanger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Regina (Tenwalde) Cameron; husband, Eugene Edward Shultz; sisters, Rita Marsh, Dorothy Nehil, Barbara Newman and Alice Corcoran; brothers, Donald and Leonard Cameron.

   The Funeral mass was celebrated Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007 at the Catholic Community of St. Jude in DeWitt with the Rev. Dwight Ezop, officiating. The Rite of Committal was held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Gladwin. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Catholic Community of St. Jude, Building Fund in memory of Mrs Shultz.
