Harry Shotzbarger
RITES SATURDAY FOR HARRY SHOTZBARGER
Harry Leamon Shotzbarger, 75, of Beaverton Township, died today (Wednesday) at Veterans
Hospital, Saginaw, after an illness of four weeks. Born in Lancaster, Pa., on July 12, 1886,
he came to Gladwin County from Detroit 31 years ago. He was married to the former Ida Guse on
Jan. 27, 1919 in Pittsburg, Pa. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the Beaverton
Armerican Legion Post.
Survivors include his wife, Ida; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Pecl and Mrs. Alberta Rucker, of
Cleveland, Ohio; three brothes, Charles and Melvin, of Cleveland, and Wayne of Pennslyvania.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Henry Hall
will officiate and burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
