Todd Shock
Todd F. Shock, 17, of Midland, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2005, at DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids.
He was born April 22, 1988 in Saginaw, and was currently a junior at H.H. Dow High School’s EMI Program. Todd had a great sense of humor and liked making others laugh. He enjoyed time he spent reading, watching “Rug Rats,” listening to “Rascal Flats” (his favorite band), and going to Camp Fish Tails in Pinconning to spend time with his friends. Known as a mischievous prankster, but with a huge heart, recently mourning the loss of his pet beagle.
He is survived by his parents, Sue Shock and Floyd Wetherell, Jr., and sister, Holly Wetherell; grandparents, Richard Shock and Nova June McGillis, and Floyd and Barbara Wetherell; great grandparents, Lonzo and Maxine Green, and John and Dorothy Shock; uncle, Rod and aunt, Vicky Green, and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother, Nathan James, an aunt, Linda Green, and grandmother, Elzina Shock.
Funeral services for Todd were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, from the Ware-Smith- Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street.
Pastor Richard Fairfield of the Apostolic Temple in Sanford officiated with interment following in Midland Cemetery.
Todd’s family received friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
