Maggie Sherman
SERVICES TODAY FOR MRS. SHERMAN
Mrs. Maggie Sherman, 84, a lifetime resident of Gladwin died Sunday at the Hill Crest Convalescent Home in Harrison after an illness of several months. She was born in Saginaw on May 31, 1872 and in 1894, was married to Gilbert Sherman who preceded her in death November 20, 1948.
Surviving are four sons, Harvey and Fred of Gladwin Township, Lee of Flint and Glen of Clio; one daughter, Mrs. Eva Perrine of Ann Arbor; three sisters, Mrs. Kittie Nickless of Gladwin Township, Mrs. Nellie Wright of Saginaw and Mrs. Frankie McCormick of Flint. Two brothers are deceased.
Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 1:00 p.m. at the Miner Funeral Home. Officiating clergyman will be the Rev. Ernest MacDonald of the Wagarville Methodist Church. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery with Russell Hager, Cloyce McColley, Wm. McColley, Wm. Sisco, Ron Bellinger and Hazen Greer as pallbearers.
