William Scollen
William R. “Wild Bill” Scollen, 56, of Gladwin died April 21, 2005 at home after a short illness. He was born in Detroit on April 29, 1948 to Nicholas and Alice (Timmerman) Scollen. He served in the Army in the Vietnam War. He was Owner/Operator of Wild Bill’s Window and Siding in Gladwin from 1991 until his death. He lived in Gladwin County since 1991, having previously resided in Westland.
Surviving are significant other, Mariette Goemare of Gladwin; one brother, James (Joyce) Scollen of Fort Meyers, Florida; nephews, Nick and Steve; nieces, Joanne, Jeannette, Jacki and Jill; and aunts Josephine and Elsie. He was predeceased by his parents and step father, Hugo Schaefers.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin.
