Clarence Scoby
RITES HELD HERE FOR EX-RESIDENT
Clarence N. Scoby, 73, of Montrose and formerly of Beaverton, died suddenly at his home last
Friday. Born in Gladwin County on April 25, 1895, he moved to Montrose 40 years ago. Mr. Scoby
was a veteran of World War I. He married the former Thelma Nolan on March 11, 1922, in Beaverton.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Vance of Montrose; one brother, Charles of
Beaverton; and one grandchild. Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Dale Methodist Church.
The Rev. A. H. Keesler officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge
of the Hall Funeral Home.
