Alan Schwerin
Alan Schwerin, 60, of Bentley passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006 at his home following a lingering illness.
He was born July 3, 1946 to Richard and Loretta (Dixon) Schwerin. He married Mary (Clements) on April 11, 1965.
He leaves behind his wife, Mary; five children, Alan Schwerin, Stephen (Bridget) Schwerin, Daniel (Terri) Schwerin, Robert (Stacey) Schwerin, Jason Schwerin and friend Sara Cunningham; 10 grandchildren, Jimmy, Latia, Chelsea, Jake, Amber, Andy, Tiffany, Danielle, Lizzy and Zach; two brothers, Charles (Kathy) Schwerin, and Don (Mary) Schwerin; three sisters, Arlene, Betty and Ruth Schwerin; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Alan was predeceased by a brother, Louis Schwerin; and a nephew, Donald Schwerin.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 23, 2006 at Lee- Ramsey Funeral Home with Pastor Reed Shorer presiding with burial at Mt. Forest Township Cemetery.
Graveside services were held under the auspices of Bay County Veteran’s Council.
