Maude L. Schuler
Maude L. Schuler, 88, of Maple Manor, died Friday, April 3, in the Gladwin Nursing Home after a short illness. Born in Edinboro, Pa, Sept. 15, 1898, she came to Gladwin County in 1971 from Clawson. She attended the Gladwin Church of Christ. The former Maude Fetterolf, she was married to Samuel Schuler July 22, 1925, in Detroit. He preceded her in death in 1949.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Corey and Mrs. Louisa Lee of Clawson; 2 sisters, Goldie Ballard of Clare and Grace Hansen of Gladwin; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 3 step-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were 2 brothers, Grant and Charles Fetterolf, 2 hal-brothers, Howard and Clarence Fetterolf and a half-sister, Lena Horn. Services were held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Bruce Mayo officiated and burial was in the Highland Cemetery.
