Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Linda Schelich

   Linda R. Schelich, 61, of Beaverton, passed away July 21, 2006 at Brittany Manor in Midland after a long illness. She was born Sept. 13, 1944 to Robert and Florence (Weisman) Adams in Celina, Ohio. She has resided in Gladwin County for 30 years. She was married Aug. 20, 1966 in Celina, Ohio to Tom Schelich.

   She was an organist at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for 25 years. Linda was a loving wife, mother and friend. She received two bachelors degrees, the first from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 1967 and the second from Saginaw Valley State University in 1998 in occupational therapy. Linda worked for A&D Health Care in Saginaw and for Saginaw Tender Loving Care as a home care therapist.

   She is survived by her husband, Tom Schelich of Beaverton; one son, Matthew (Tina) Schelich of Kingsley, Michigan; three brothers, Donald (Rita) Adams of Celina, Ohio, Allan (Janet) Adams of Coldwater, Ohio, and David (Pat) Adams of Celina; one sister, Elaine (John) McGriff of Somerset, Kentucky; 19 nieces and nephews and many close friends. She is predeceased by her parents; one daughter, Anne Marie in 1979; and one nephew, Scott Adams in 2003.

   Memorial services will be Monday, July 31, 2006 at 10 a.m. with a gathering starting at 9 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Beaverton. Pastor Paul Metzger will officiate. Burial will be at Edenville Township Cemetery in Edenville.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may me made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Organ Fund, A&D Health Care Charitable Fund, or Family Care Option.
