Clarence Rouse
RITES SUNDAY FOR CLARENCE ROUSE
Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home for Clarence Edward
Rouse, 58, of Clement Township, who died Wednesday after a short illness. Born in Gladwin
on June 20, 1907, he was a boat builder. He moved back to Gladwin County three years ago
from Kalkaska. Mr. Rouse was married to the former Naomi Russell Feb. 18, 1934. She preceded
him in death.
He spent three years in service between 1923 and 1926. Surviving are two sons, William of
Muskegon, and Clarence, of Shelby; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Kokx, of Shelby, and Mrs. Beverly
Tracy, of Muskegon; a brother, Basil Boales, of Beulah; and nine grandchildren. Burial will be
in Highland Cemetery.
