Meredith Ross

ILLNESS FATAL TO MEREDITH ROSS

   Meredith P. Ross, 59, of Sanford, died Sunday at the Jodeman Nursing Home, West Branch, following an illness of seven months. Born in Grover City, Ohio, Sept. 11, 1906, he came to Gladwin County with his parents in his youth. For the past 10 years he had lived in Sanford and prior to that in Pontiac. Mr. Ross' wife, Olive, preceded him in death July 22, 1964.

   Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David S. Ross of Beaverton; a sister, Mrs. William (Betty) Rogers of Saginaw; four brothers, Ronald of Beaverton, L. J. of Mt. Pleasant, Wayne of Enon, Ohio, and Warren of Portland, Ore. He was a member of the Beaverton F. & A.M. Lodge. Special Masonic rites were held at the Hall Funeral Home Tuesday evening.

   Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Roger Browne, of the Beaverton Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in Dale Cemetery at Beaverton.
