L. M. Ross
L. M. Ross, 70, of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, Nov. 12, in Central Michigan
Community Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Born in Beaverton on October 19, 1913, he graduated from
Beaverton High School and Central Michigan University. He received his master's degree from
Michigan State University and did graduate work at the University of Colorado. Mr. Ross was a
teacher and in business administration at Mt. Pleasant High School and Central Michigan University.
He was a veteran of World War II and had been in Mt. Pleasant since 1947.
Surviving are one brother, Warren of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Betty Rogers of Saginaw;
and several nieces and nephews. Rites were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Beaverton Presbyterian Dale
Cemetery. Arrangements were by Stinson-Helms Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant. Services in Beaverton wer by
the Hall Funeral Home.
