Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
David Ross Jr.

   David “Dave” H. Ross Jr., 50, of Beaverton left us to be with the Lord he served on Dec. 27, 2007. He passed away suddenly at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids.

   He was born in Clare on July 31, 1957 to David H. and Irene (Hayward) Ross Sr. Dave was a med tech at Bay Medical Center in Bay City. He also served his country with the United States Marine Corp in the Vietnam Era. He had lived in Gladwin County most of his life, previously residing in Essexville.

   He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Bay City. He loved all outdoor activities but most of all he dearly loved his family.

   Dave is survived by JoAnn Ross of Essexville; son, David John Ross of Essexville; daughter, Lisa Jo Ross of Essexville; mother, Irene Ross of Beaverton; sisters, Diane Ross of Beaverton and Carol (Bryan) Carbeno of Coleman; brother, Ronald (Kelly) Ross of Gladwin; nieces and nephews, Chris and Katie Ross of Midland, Nathan and Kory Ross of Gladwin, and Bailey and Bo Carbeno of Coleman; mother-in-law, Ruth Nimtz of Sebewaing; brother-in-law, Mark (Wendy) Nimtz of Troy; sisters-in-law, Arlene (Leroy) Schweitzer and Gloria (Kerry) Keller of Sebewaing. He was preceded in death by his father, David H. Ross Sr.

   Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton with Mark A. Nimtz and Jim Walters officiating. He was laid to rest in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery in Beaverton.

   Memorial contributions will be used according to the wishes of the family.
