Robert Rose
ROBERT ROSE
Robert L. Rose, 28, of 3866 Weiman Rd., Beaverton, died of injuries sustained in an auto accident on the I-75 expressway in Bay County Friday, Feb. 23. Born in Billings Township on April 11, 1950, he had spent his lifetime here; Mr. Rose served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1971 and was employed in the Melting Department at Nodular Iron, General Motors, Saginaw.
Surviving are his father, John Rose of Beaverton; one brother, John A. (Sandy) of Freeland; 2 sisters, Kathleen of Saginaw and Mrs. Walter (Phyllis) Stoddard of Fairgrove; and his fiance Crystal Shaw of Gladwin.
Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Fred Wilson officiated and burial was in the Billings Cemetery.
