FORMER GLADWIN RESIDENT DIES
Norman W. Rose, 74, of 712 Asylum St., Flint, died Sunday at Hurley Hospital. Born in Gladwin
on June 7, 1889, the son of Edward and Lelah Rose, he was a veteran of World War I. Survivors are
Mrs. Mary Holocher, of Flint, Mrs. Lillie Elthorp, of Mt. Morris; Henry, of Bay City, and John and
Russell, of Flint. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Benjamin Funeral Home
in (?) with the Rev. J. Hall Pumphrey officiating. Burial will be at (?) p.m. in Highland Cemetery,
Gladwin..
