Betty Rogers

   Betty M. Rogers, 81, of Saginaw Township, passed away March 31, 2006. Betty Mae Ross was born June 5, 1924 in Beaverton to David Stephen and Mary Ellen (Paxton) Ross. She married William C. Rogers in 1946. They shared 39 years together. He predeceased her in 1985. Mrs. Rogers was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Beaverton. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star of Beaverton, Coleman Chapter. Betty retired from Second National Bank after 12 years of service.

   Surviving are two daughters, Marcia and husband, Frederick, Frisch of Saginaw and Andrea Cardenas f Breckenridge; one son, William Ross Rogers of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; a son-in-law, Dennis L. Bacon; a brother, Warren and wife, Ann, Ross of Portland, Oregon; sistersin- law, Emma Lou Watson of Anchorage, Alaska, Anna Marie Morgan of Mt. Pleasant, and Dorothy J. Grove of Gladwin; nine grandchildren, Jason and Devon Frisch, Angela and Kip Moffett, Todd and Jamille Bacon, Joshua Cardenas, Quinn and Chris Fate, Andrew Cardenas, Jared Frisch, Christopher and Jacob Cardenas; two Great-grandchildren, Trevor Bacon and Dominique Ann Frisch; and many other loving family members and friends. Betty was predeceased by a daughter Pamela J. Bacon; a granddaughter Erin Melissa Cardenas; and four brothers, Wayne, Merideth, Ronald and LJ Ross.

   Funeral services took place w April 4, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church in Beaverton. Rev. Karen Blatt officiated with interment following at Dale Cemetery. Memorial offerings may be given to the church.
