Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Herbert Roehrs

   Herbert C. “Herb” Roehrs, 79, of Beaverton passed away July 3, 2007 at his home He was born Dec. 20, 1927 to Carl and Lydia (Piepke) Roehrs in Beaverton.

   Herb was a lab technician at Dow Chemical in Midland; retiring in 1990 after 43 years He was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and a member of the Beaverton Lions Club On July 30, 1950, Herb married Jackie Brown in Gladwin.

   Surviving are his wife, Jackie Roehrs of Beaverton; three sons, Greg (Jeannette) Roehrs, Rodney (Catherine) Roehrs, and Jeff (Tammy) Roehrs, all of Beaverton; one daughter, Kelly Mishler, and friend, Mary “Mitzi” Toner, of Sanford; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Eric, Kristi, Stephanie, Amanda, Jackie, Macey and Nathan; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Lucille) Roehrs of Beaverton; one sister, Mary Ann (Jack) Jones of Palm Bay, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and one son-in-law, John Mishler. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Delynn Roehrs.

   Funeral services were held Friday, July 6, 2007 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin with Pastor Matthew Schultz officiating. Burial was in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery in Beaverton.

   Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church building fund.
