MRS. HARRY ROBACK

Sophia D. McKimmy, daughter of Theodore and Hulda McKimmy, was born in Lenawee County, Michigan, Dec. 2, 1894 and died at the Saginaw General Hospital May 4, 1931, at the age of 36 years, 5 months and 2 days. On Feb. 26, 1913, she was married to Harry Roback. To this union were born five children, all of whom survive her, namely, Howard, age 16,; Vivian, age 15; Lauren, age 13; Russel, age 11; and Jean Colleen, infant.

About 12 years ago she, with her husband and three children, moved to this community, where she has since resided. At a very early age she united with the Church of the Brethren of the Fairview congregation of Lenawee county. When moving to this community she transferred her membership to the Beaverton congregation. She was always a devoted companion and a kind and loving mother, always willing to sacrifice and work for the joy and welfare of her home and family.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband and five children, her parents, two brothers, Royal McKimmy of Blissfield, Mich., and David of Toledo, Ohio; three sisters, Lulu Kintner of Blissfield, Mrs. Clara Hughes and Doris McKimmy of Beaverton, and grandfather, Perry McKimmy of Beaverton, and a host of neighbors and friends. Funeral services were held at the Dale church Thursday afternoon, May 7, 2:30, Rev. Perry P. Hoover officiating. Interment was made in the Dale Cemetery.
