LAWRENCE RILEY


  Lawrence S. Riley, 77, of 2553 Smith Rd., Beaverton, died Saturday, Jan. 14, in the Saginaw V.A. Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Silver Creek, Neb., Oct. 27, 1911, he came to Gladwin County several years ago. Mr. Riley farmed and served in the Army during World War II. He was a life member of the Cedar River Riding Club and a member of the American Dairy Goat Association.

  Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Rites were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. Deacon Harry Mailley officiated and burial was in Arbutus Cemetery..
