Ralph Richmond
Ralph G. Richmond, 81, of Gladwin, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1993, in the
MidMichigan Regional Medical Center, Midland, after a battle with lung cancer. He was born in
Hersey on June 10, 1912, and moved to Gladwin in 1948. Mr. Richmond moved to Arizona in 1979 and
came back in 1972. He was a retired lab worker for Dow Chemical Co. Mr. Richmond was a veteran of
World War II and was a member of Masonic Lodge 397 F&AM and Eastern Star White Clover Chapter 84.
Mr. Richmond and the former Sylvia Lout were married May 4, 1935, in Detroit.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Ralph Jr. of Gladwin and William of
Detroit; one sister, Beatrice Ewald of Gladwin; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by 3 brothers.
Services were held today, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. from the Sisson Funeral Home. The Rev.
Roger Hardy officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
