Paul J. Richardson
Paul J. Richardson, 62, of Wooden Shoe Village, died Tuesday, April 6, in
the Midland Hospital. Born in St. Louis, Mo., on August 11, 1914, he came to Gladwin County
in July of 1975, from Cicero, Ill. Mr. Richardson was a veteran of World War II and was a
refrigeration mechanic. He was married to the former Mabel Darling in 1951 in Illinois.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael of Elgin, Ill. and Daniel at home;
one daughter, Carol at home; one sister and one grandson. Rites were held Saturday at 11 a.m.
from the Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Locher officiated and burial was in the Grout
Cemetery.
