Eric Reid
Eric R. Reid, 77, of Gladwin and formerly of Hazel Park, died Sept. 21, 2005 at Clare Tendercare Nursing Home in Clare following a long illness. He was born Feb. 6, 1928 in Detroit to James and Catherine (Robertson) Reid. He married Shirley Furlow in Royal Oak on Feb. 28, 1953. He was an electrician at Ford Motor Company, and served in the Marines. He lived in Gladwin County for 12 years. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Reid of Gladwin, three children and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and by his brother, Jim.
According to the wishes of the family cremation has taken place.
