Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Marguerite Rauch

   Marguerite Pauline (Churchill) Rauch, 89, of McGregor, formerly of Moreno Valley, California, passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 29, 2008.

   Mrs. Rauch was born July 20, 1918 in Gladwin the daughter of the late Louis W. and Lillian E. (Carr) Churchill and was a 1936 graduate of Saginaw High School in Saginaw.

   On Feb. 27, 1937 she married Wallace Ervin Rauch. After 68 years of marriage, he preceded her in death March 25, 2005. Much of her life was spent in Moreno Valley, California until moving to McGregor in 2006.

   She was a member of the Wesleyan Christian Fellowship Church in Moreno Valley for 20 years where she was active in the Women’s Care Group. She was also a member of the California Senior Center. For 20 years, she was employed by the state of California as a secretary, retiring in 1976.

   Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Wilson of Camarillo, California and Barbara Jennrich of Moody; three sisters, Vivian Raymond of Roberts, Montana, Geraldine Switzer of Gladwin, and Tess McBride of Seattle, Washington; seven grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and two greatgreat- grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband and a son, Larry William Rauch.

   Memorial services are at noon Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008 at Central Texas Metropolitan Community Church in Waco, Texas, with Pastor Charlie Garrison officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
