Adolph Priemer
Adolph L. Priemer, 89, of 200 Third St., Gladwin, died Monday, March 21, in
the Clare Community Hospital following a short illness. Born in Ruth on November 4, 1893, he
came to Gladwin County in 1933. He was a concrete contractor and farmed. Mr. Priemer was a
veteran of World War I and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the World War I
Barracks of Gladwin. He was married to the former Louise Schroeder October 30, 1922, in Huron
County.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Marvin of Detroit, Richard of Gladwin and Carl
of Beaverton; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Caroline) Lanskroener of Gladwin; 20 grandchildren and
18 great grandchildren. A son, Adolph Jr., died June 22, 1945, of wounds received in Germany.
Services will be held Thursday at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will
be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
