Ralph Presido
RALPH PRESIDO
Ralph Presido, 51, well-known Beaverton resident, died Thursday, Jan. 6, in the Midland Hospital after an illness of two weeks. Born in St. Charles on January 23, 1925, he moved to Gladwin County in 1947. He was the service manager at Presido Sales and Services in Beaverton for many years. Mr. Presido served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the Beaverton Area Fire Department, the Beaverton Lions Club, the Beaverton Business Association and a Past Master of the Beaverton F. & AM Lodge No. 453. He and the former Lois Greer were married on October 24, 1952, in Gladwin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Daniel of Belleville and Dirk at home; one sister, Mrs. Angeline Thiele of St. Charles; and 2 brothers, Albert of St. Charles, Ernie and Elmer in California. Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Roger Browne officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery. A Masonic Memorial Service was held Saturday evening. .
