Edmmund Pratt

ILLNESS FATAL TO EDMUND PRATT

   Edmund E. Pratt, 66, a painter and decorator in Gladwin County for 30 years, died Friday, May 28, following an illness of several months. Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Tuesday forenoon at 10 o'clock, with Rev. Fr. George Artman officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

   Born in Alcona County, February 28, 1899, Mr. Pratt was a veteran of World War II. He came to Gladwin 30 years ago and made his home in Wooden Shoe Village and Buckeye Township on M-61. He was not married.

   Survivors include two brothers, Philip of Oneida, Tenn., George of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four sisters, Mrs. Emma Schneller of Rapid City, Mrs. Velma Guillaume of Detroit, Mrs. Blanch Hunt of San Diego, Calif, and Mrs. Florence Porter of Cortez, Fla.
