Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Lawrence Powell

   Lawrence L. Powell, 61, of 2405 S. M-18, Beaverton, died Wednesday May 3, 1992, in the MidMichigan Regional Medical Center, Gladwin, after a short illness. Born in Bay City, May 13, 1930, he moved to Gladwin County in 1982 from Bay City. Mr. Powell was a certified nurse's aid and has been employed at the Clare Nursing Home and Adult Intermediate Services Home in Gladwin, prior to retirement.

   Surviving are, one daughter, Carol Demaray of Gladwin; his father, Leonard Powell of Beaverton; one sister, Mrs. Elaine Moore of Chicago, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Rites were held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Donald Christensen officiated and burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. A Scripture Service was held Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home.
