Clarence Pike
Clarence A. Pike, 92, died Dec. 7, 2006 at Gladwin Pines Nursing Home in Gladwin. He was born March 11, 1914 to Clarence and Eva (Ammons) Pike in Gladwin.
Clarence was a barber who owned Pike’s Barber Shop, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII. He lived in Gladwin County most of his life and was a member of the Gladwin VFW, Eagles Aerie #3292, Gladwin Moose Lodge, and the Gladwin American Legion Post. He was married to Ruth Prout, and later to June Chichester.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Carol Pike of New Lothrup; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Mary Pike of Mt. Morris; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and special friend Olivia Smith of Gladwin.
He was predeceased by his wife, his parents, a daughter, Harlene Pike, and a grandson.
Funeral Services were Monday, Dec. 11 at Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Withrow officiating, and burial at Highland Cemetery in Gladwin.
