VICTOR A. PETERSON (4 JAN 1894 - 8 APRIL 1967)
ILLNESS FATAL TO VICTOR PETERSON
Victor A. Peterson, 73, of Wooden Shoe Village,
died Saturday, April 8, following an illness of
several months. Born near Stockholm, Sweden, Jan. 4,
1894, Mr. Peterson was a retired machinist coming to
Gladwin County four years ago from Saginaw. He and the
former Elizabeth Marie Dashner were married in Saginaw
Jan. 4, 1917.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Warren of
Half Moon Bay, Calif., and Robert of Cypress, Calif.;
two brothers, Albert of Saginaw and Axel of Hemlock;
two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Heidel of Bay City and Mrs.
Ida Frenel of Long Beach, Calif.; and two
grandchildren.
br> Services were held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the
Miner Chapel with the Rev. R. J. Lautner of Saginaw officiating. He was a life-member of the F. & A. M. No. 154 of Saginaw. A Masonic memorial service was held Monday evening. Burial was in Dale Cemetery at Beaverton..
