Russell Paxton
SERVICES THURSDAY FOR RUSSELL PAXTON
Russell J. Paxton, 65, died Monday at his home in Clare County, after an illness of nine
months. Mr. Paxton born January 2, 1895, was a WWI veteran. He married the former Miss Abbie
Dunham on February 29, 1916, and had lived in Clare County for 23 years.
Survivors include his widow, Abbie; two sons, James R., of Clare, and Louis, of Clio; one
daughter, Mrs. Cleo Hart, of Mt. Morris; two brothers, Clifford, of Beaverton, and Dewey, of
Clare; two sisters, Mrs. Leona Busick, of Grover Hill, Ohio, and Mrs. David Ross, of Beaverton;
and five grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, March 24, at 2 p.m. at the Dale Methodist Church. The Rev.
Verne Summers and Rev. Albert Hager will officiate and burial will be in Dale cemetery.
