Claude N. Onweller
SERVICES FRIDAY FOR CLAUDE ONWELLER
Claude N. Onweller, 70, passed away at his home in Tobacco Township, early January 12, this morning after an illness of about a year. Claude N. Onweller, the son of Grant and Jessie Onweller, was born September 1885 in Ohio. He came to Gladwin county in 1900 and in 1907 was married to Lucy Seward at Gladwin.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy; seven daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Howell of Flint, Mrs. Jessie Kintner of Plymouth, Mrs. Lorraine Eishaw of Cleveland, and Mrs. Beverly Brushaber, Mrs. Velma Blades, Mrs. Betty Blades and Mrs. Claudine Sandula of Beaverton; four sons, Sgt. 1/c Robert Onweller in Germany, Melvin and Glenn of Beaverton and Alvin of Gladwin; also 28 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Dale Methodist Church, Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Grubaugh officiating. Burial will be in Dale cemetery. The remains will be taken to the church about an hour before the service.
