RITES HELD SUNDAY FOR ANNA OLIVER
Services were Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home for Mrs. Anna C. Oliver, 71, of Billings Township, who died last Wednesday after a short illness. Born in Billings Township on April 30, 1893, the former Anna Colbeck was married to Jay Oliver in 1915. {Not Correct!} She was a member of the Home Extension Club and Farm Bureau.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Pete Maxwell, of Hope; six sons, Donald and Edwin, of Beaverton, Doug, Midland, Jack, of Studio City, Calif., Robert, of Corunna, and Earl, at home; three brothers, Earl, Beaverton, Herman, of Florida, and Theodore of Saginaw; one sister, Hazel Rasmussen, of Florida; 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The Rev. Donald Wilson, of Hope, officiated and burial was in Midland Memorial Cemetery.
