Wayne Ogg
Wayne L. Ogg, 86, of Gladwin, died March 1, 2005 at Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Gladwin.
He was born Jan. 24, 1919 in Hillsdale to Edwin and Leora (Cave) Ogg. He married the former Helen Balakovich, who predeceased him in 1980. He later married the former Alice Kubick. He was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County, and was an Operator at Dow Chemical in Midland until his retirement in 1980 after 42 years.
Surviving are his wife, Alice Ogg of Gladwin; one son, Gerald W. (Barbara) Ogg of Gladwin; two daughters, Sue (Kevin) Peterson of Millford, and Pat (Ken) McNeill of Mason; grandchildren, Lori Draheim of Howell, Wendy and Chris McBrien of Maryland, Jenny McNeill and husband Cavan Berry of Muskegon, and Honey Anderson of Lansing; seven Great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary and Margaret; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Helen; daughter, Barbara; sister, Faye; and brothers, Melvin and Clare.
Funeral services were held March 5 at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin, with pastor Brad Withrow officiating. Burial took place at Highland Cemetery in Gladwin.
