Daniel Ogden
Daniel “Danny” Ogden, 67, of Gladwin, died June 6, 2006 at home following a long illness. He was born Feb. 28, 1939 to Duward “Dewey” and Lottie (Puchala) Ogden. Danny graduated from Ferris State University and was a golf pro at The Sands Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada. He moved back to Gladwin County in 1993 and helped start the Gladwin Area Artist Guild and “Get A Kid Hooked on Golf” in Gladwin. He was also the owner and operator of Ogden Custom Golf at The Glen in Gladwin. He was a member of Gladwin Eagle’s Club and Gladwin Moose.
Surviving are his mother, Lottie Ogden of Gladwin, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Dewey Ogden. A funeral service was held Saturday, June 10 at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro, with pastor Lynn Chappell officiating.
Burial followed in Indianfields Township Cemetery. There was also a special service at Hall Funeral Home on Friday, June 9; pastor Lynn Chappell officiated.
